Kicks off in a few days with release on January 1 2008. So far we have 7 builders making a single level for the project, though this could change before the official start date of September 1.

Here is how my level, One World, began life.

And here is the first outdoors area fully textured in the NGLE window.

And here is how it looks in game. It's set at night and looks great under subdued lighting but won't really be much fun playing in a sunny room with windows reflecting on your monitor!

I wonder what they're guarding in there?

Here are two screenshots from Kitkat's level, Over the Rainbow, which is being beta tested right now.

Looks cool! George, is each level a story in its own, or is it one whole story?

Hiya Katie, each level has it's own unique story but every level will end in a room exactly the same with the same final pickup, a Skribblerz Stone, before kicking back to the title screen. I guess it's a whole bunch of different adventures to find the same artefact. Last year's Skribblerz Stonez was a success so we'll be having one every year, hopefully.

The official start date for this project was today and it looks as if we could have 6 or 7 levels in this thing! laugh.gif

My level was a little dark so I lightened the horizon. It's lost a little atmosphere but gained loads of playability.

I'll check back from time to time to see if you get stuck. The gameplay flows nicely though, so I don't expect to hear much from you until you've finished it biggrin.gif
