I've read the manual and I've tries skribblerz
BUT they don't work.
Is there anyway I can find a complete beginners guide to building levels for dummies or something like that?

This is the online version of the official tutorial level manual by Gary LaRochelle and it covers all the basics. Start at page one and work through it systematically. It really doesn't get any more basic than this.

I don't understand how to create water.
AND Just wondering... How the hell do I use textures I download off trsearch? I use 'em, save it, exit come back and it goes 'arg list too big' i tried the solution but it dont seem to work. Someone HELP! I got this great idea for a level and Im stuck!

I'm sure you know about the Baptism of Fire projects run By Gmac which helps new builders to improve there skills. It will be my debut mission so i'm pretty excited about it! There are 8 secrets in total. The mission is reasonable long taking me over an hour to complete including collecting the secrets along the way. When it is released make sure you read the readme so you can find out who the BoF staff is. I can't thank George and the Staff enough for there endless support throughout the project.
Story
Our mission begins in Nepal with Lara Croft, our intrepid adventurer, on the hunt for the holy grail.
According to ancient documents written by the knights templar and found near the jordan basin near
Israel, the original guardians of the grail moved it in the 4th century to Nepal, where according to
Legend it has remained ever since guarded by Nepalise monks. Hot on the trail, Lara follows a lead
she got from her ancient artifact advisor and old friend Jean Louis Pierre. Thanks to his help she
now has a copy of ancient documents which contain encrypted clues as to where the grail may reside.
