hey, kids smile.gif

I have a couple ideas for fiction I'm planning on writing and I welcome any input and suggestions.

1. An old friend of Lara's father is murdered in Miami and the CSI team investigates, meaning Lara
has the pleasure of meeting the ever-suave and ever-cool (sarcasm) Horatio Caine. biggrin.gif

2. Zip's grandmother invites he, Lara, Winston and Terry Sheridan to her place in Atlanta and they
stop in Hazzard County to rest and they meet Lara's "country cousin" Loralee Crawford (LC)

3. Lara's American lawyer J. R. Hogg is screwing people of of their properties and the Leverage team
pretend to be Amelia Croft back from Avalon and a long lost cousin to get even.

we like or not? any other ideas? cool.gif

Good luck in your new bed. Enjoy your nighmare, son, while you're resting your head.-

I think the first one is your best bet.

I've always hated CSI so I'm not going to pretend I like that idea. Of the three, I suppose the second is the least weird (this is from my point of view). All I know is that anything related to CSI most often push my interest in any given direction elsewhere. You ought to try to come up with some more ideas though. The more ideas, the easier it is to find a really good one. And then perhaps you can even mix a few of the ideas together for a good twist.

Just a thought.

hey Khar,

well thank you for the insight. another idea I was playing with was an AU story based on TR3 or TR4 where
Lara supposedly dies when the pyramid in Egypt collapses. she finds herself in an underground civilization,
not quite Atlantis but more like in H.P. Lovecraft and Zeila Bishop's "The Mound". she's been set up by
everyone she trusted-Zip, Bryce, Alister, Alex, Kurtis and even Winston and Von Croy and recovers and
trains for revenge for five years. the clone Lara fought in UNDERWORLD now becomes a servant assisting
her in revenge. we likee?

Good luck in your new bed. Enjoy your nighmare, son, while you're resting your head.-

Hm. It's twisty. It's starting to sound more interesting now, I admitt that. I like the whole H.P. Lovecraft-thing, but have ALL of her familiars having betrayed her? I don't know. It doesn't quite give you the full tension possible. Perhaps one or two additional "betrayers" along with Von Croy. The interesting part there would be trying to keep the identity of the two additional killers hidden as long as possible. Always a winner when you have a double crosser or two on your team, and you have to find out who they are.

Just another thought. tongue.gif

But having the Lara clone work together with Lara could work.

hey,

that was just a rough idea. I'll probably go with two of her familiars and maybe one or two additional as
well, but thank you for your advice. another thread talks about Lara's many deaths. perhaps I or somebody
could write a story where Lara gets fed up with "dying" and decides to visit the gamer and give them a
piece of her mind. wink.gif
