Hey everybody!

I'm new at this (intro'd myself in the hi'ya forum). Playing TRU in Southern Mexico on the Wii and encountered the famous bug that "freezes" Lara while the bike continues on, etc. Went to Stella's (love her site, help and advice), and tried her suggestion about switching which calendar to go to first. Didn't stop the bug from grabbing me (Lara) when I tried to go back to the ruins to continue the trek. Anyway, I got to thinking: "What would Lara do." So, after visiting both calendar sites like we're supposed to, I simply parked the bike and left it well back from the spot where the bug grabs on. Then had Lara run all the way to the ruins sans bike. It worked! Went to the ruins, did all, got the stuff, ran back and picked up the bike, rode to the ball field and did everything in order to get out of that area. That's the way to defeat that particular bug: just walk/run right by it, whistling.gif leaving the bike behind until you come back. Hope it works for you too.

Here's to jumpin' and hangin'

Wow, seems like a long way around it but glad you were able to play the whole level! That kind of reminds me of TR2 40 Fathoms. It wasn't a bug, but I didn't have any harpoons left so it literally took me like 40 tries to swim by the last "frogman" without being killed. Persevere!

Persevere!

Or, to quote Lara:

With patience and persistence.

Thanks Katie and Deano!

Once I had thought of it and tried it, it didn't take too long to do the runs either way. That lady can really cover ground!
Thanks again for making me feel welcome.

Hang tough and leap for joy!
