Some points from the interview at E3:
* No release date revealed
* GOL will feature "challenge tombs" - players can decide to try and unlock them to play or take the easy way and bypass them
* If you die, you'll re-spawn next to your partner, provided they're still alive
* If you and your partner die you'll re-spawn near where you died, so there isn't a big penalty
* Playing co-op has its challenges as well - seeing which person can gather the most points by collecting gems and killing enemies

Cool. I like the "challenge tombs" idea. If we want to try out some challenging places, we can choose to check them out.

Yeah, it seems like they've really tried to tailor the game to all different types of gamers. Even with the 50/50 fighting/puzzle solving so that's neat. And the ability to take shortcuts if the puzzles aren't your thing. Definitely an attempt to please everyone

Yeah. I miss good old puzzles being a major part of gameplay. So few games do it anymore. I've always enjoyed trying to figure out the puzzles in Tomb Raider. I hope the ones in GOL will be good.
Not to mention that I'm of course seriously excited about co-op. I'm expecting to have a friend camp here for a few days to play through the game with me.

Wow it looks sweet! I love the "challenge tombs" part of the game. Wow, the traps and puzzles look awesome!
I laughed so much at the spider and how it blew up.
