Epic winning!!
Can't believe it won't come out till Autumn 2012! Especially after all that teasing about it coming out this year. However, it explains why Crystal Dynamics were so hush about it all - They hadn't done much yet!
Still the longer the wait, the more hopeful we can be of a much more expansive game - that will hopefully live up to expectations.
The voice for Lara also sounds great. Young, fresh and naive which fits the situation. Very promising and STUNNING CGI
...
Very happy with that

That's who she reminds me of too. I wonder if it is her? I haven't been able to find out anything about the new voice actress so...

With respect to the trailer, I turned out wonderful. The smoothness of the movements, music, Lara Croft, everything. It was perfect
Greetings.

I wonder if that's any indication of what the in game graphics will look like?
Her voice is just right. I'm a Brit and she doesn't sound too posh at all. Sort of middle England, but with some modern inflections.
I think they've done the right thing taking the game in this direction. A completely fresh approach is what was needed imho.

I guess this is what they are talking about when they say that we will see Lara "evolve" as a person during the game. Going from a naive kid to a worldly adventurer.
The trailer was just an intro cinematic though. It didn't show any of the in-game mechanics - which is what a game is about after all. So they haven't shown us anything of the actual game yet, just the new look. No obvious white ledges to grab onto, so that's a start...

Anyhoo, did anybody see this week's Doctor Who? The girl who played the soldier doing the needlecraft (Christina Chong) sounded a lot like Lara in the new trailer. Bit of a stretch, maybe.

Of course, there's always the possibility that they won't use this actress in the finished game?

FTR this voice actress is Lara in the game. Karl confirmed it and it wouldn't make sense to use one voice in the trailer and swap for the game...this is it!
