When I first read the title of the article I thought Lara was going to be played by a chimp
But, Lara wants her mummy? Again. That story didn't work for fans in LAU so I think I'll give the film a miss. I'm even more worried about the game now i.e. will some of the game story be similar to the film? I hope not

Unfortunately, it looks like this entire series is getting like the Need for Speed series has gotten, which is really stale. The Tomb Raider of old seems to be gone forever, and the Tomb Raider name has turned into an empty shell.

*Sniff* but I think you're probably right. Of course I realise that when a company takes over a franchise they want to put their own stamp on it, but I think CD are just treating Tomb Raider as a brand name and they can do whatever they want with it, and no matter how much the gameplay/stories deteriorate people will still buy it just because it's called Tomb Raider. Trouble is a lot of people who have never played the classics probably will buy it and think it's great

I'm really sick of the "Lara looking for her parents storyline" again. This storyline was just shown in Crystal Dynamics Tomb Raider Trilogy, so why do we need this element in the main storyline? It just does not make sense for me. Unfortunately we probably won't see anything of the old Lara in this generation, which is a shame really. I really wanted an AoD continuation, but we never got one, which probably upsets me the most. I'm going to give this movie a try when it releases. i hope the emphasis on finding her parents will not shadow the movie.

Im getting fed up of this lara and her parents malarke. Im getting fed up of all this new lara stuff. I hate to say this but being a fan since TR2, i might have to leave the series and ditch my fan site if it gets any worse.

I think Angelina Jolie Should be Lara Croft, she is still pretty, Olivia Wilde does not look like her at all! They should atleast get someone who looks exaclty like Angelina Jolie but thats impossible XD
