Hello! My name is Joshua and I'm new to the forum! I've been a massive fan of Tomb Raider ever since watching my older brother play Tomb Raider 2 in the late 90's on our old PC! I have played (and replayed from time to time) nearly all of the tomb raider games, including the expansion packs e.g. Unfinished Business, Golden Mask and The Lost Artefact. I remember Tomb Raider The Angel Of Darkness on the PS2 being the hardest one, but i managed to complete it in the end :D . The only one I haven't played yet is the most recent one, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. My favourites are all the classics, and I love the atmospheric composed music by Nathan McCree and the level designs in them. Not only do I play on Tomb Raider, but also many other franchises, like Crash Bandicoot, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy or Spyro The Dragon etc.

I have also written two Tomb Raider stories, based on the Nintendo Game Boy Colour game versions as i thought they both had good story lines, which hopefully I can post in the fan fiction section later on this forum to share, and have many fans of the series to enjoy them and to give feedback :)
Anyway It's great now being a member of this forum and I hope to interact with all you fellow fans!
Raid On!

Yeah me too, I replay them all the time! I just finished Spyro 1 and 2 and I'm halfway through 3, lol!
I really wanna try Uncharted, I've heard it's a great game. Should give it a go. :)

Agree 100% about the Spyros, the first three are amazing, especially the second one. It's my favourite. I also thought Hero's tail was surprisingly good!

Crash B, also agree with you on this one :D Warped is the best one by far, I think! Did like the second game a lot too - not too keen on the first one, though it's a good game too.

My favourite Final Fantasy is VIII, no doubt! I love that game, I've played it like.. I don't know, a hundred times? Honest. :') I know it by heart. I've replayed all the ones I own (VI-XIII) several times, and like all of them a lottt! ..Ok, not a big fan of XII, I never really got it. :D

Cool, i definitely recommend playing on Uncharted 3, it's awesome :D Have you played the first and second one? In my opinion i think Uncharted 2 is the best :)

I haven't tried Uncharted at all yet, should definitely give it a try!

TR2 is my favourite! Probably because it was my first one.. TR5 and TR4 are in top 3 as well, but after that I can't put them in any order! If I had to pick a least favourite out of the classics, it'd have to be TR3 - no particular reason, though. I also liked the new generation TRs almost just as much as the classics, which surprised me a bit. :) They're different but liked them anyway. Haven't played AoD at all so can't say my opinion on that. ^^

What are your favourites? :)

My personal favourites are TR 1-4, if i had to pick one out it would be TR2 same as you :D though it would be very close between TR1. I wasn't really a big fan of TR5, though it filled in the ending of TR4 as well as showing Lara's other adventures in the past :)(It also included the Tomb Raider Level Editor which is fantastic, since i've played some great fan levels). AOD had a great storyline, but if i can remember it was quite difficult in some areas, especially with the controls, i was playing the PS2 version. It also had some great ideas, level designs and puzzles into it. It took me a while figuring out some puzzles in levels, such as archaeological dig and the vault of trophies (i was either 11 or 12 when i played it, this was around the time it was released in 2003/04, and i haven't played it since i had completed it).

The newer Tomb Raiders (Legend, Anniversary and Underworld) i thought were very good. My favourite out of them is anniversary, since it remade some of my favourite levels from the first one with a newer engine, like the Egypt levels (City of Khamoon etc), they were beautiful. I've also played the game boy colour and advance tomb raider games which i thought were brilliant back in the day, that's one of the reasons i wrote fan fiction based on their storylines. I'm looking forward to the next tomb raider, seeing what that is like, and i hope it brings some elements of what the classics had :D.

If i had to rank them from my best to least favourite here it is:
1. Tomb Raider 2
2. Tomb Raider 1/Anniversary
3. Tomb Raider 3
4. Tomb Raider The Last Revelation
5. Tomb Raider Chronicles
6. Tomb Raider Underworld
7. Tomb Raider Legend
8. Tomb Raider Angel Of Darkness

Have you read any of Katie's tomb raider stories? If you have, which one is your favourite, mine is Sweat, Strength and Determination

@TonyTheTiger Ha, I heard Katie's favourite tomb raider was the third one :D What's your favourite Tomb Raider game?

My favorite is TR2. That is the first one I played. I found a demo called Tomb Raider2 around the time TR2 was released in late 1997, and downloaded it, and liked it. I bought the full game right afterwards.

Awesome :D Do you have any memorable moments in the game, or any favourite levels? Mine are Venice (Of course the speedboat section :D), Tibetan Foothills with the snowmobile and the mysterious floating islands level (Especially with the choir while on the bridge in the level, very scary and atmospheric) :) But overall i think Tomb Raider 2 is a fantastic game, one that i will treasure

I liked the Tibet section of the game.

A few months ago, I played the game again. Here are some threads.
